Make your own paper craft utopian city!

Imagined Utopia is a collaborative project by Gareth Hopkins which gives participants the opportunity to illustrate their own idea of Utopia and then have it combined with the Utopias of others. Participants can do whatever they want with the basic template provided, and if they want to include it in the growing installation they can scan or photograph the flat template and send it to the artist, who’ll print it out, construct it and add it to the rest of the city.

Templates and drawing materials will be provided, but if you prefer your own special touch, feel free to bring your own tools!

This workshop is part of the U(Dys)topia(s): Envisioning the Futures public programme by Young Blood Initiative, with the support of Making Space Aberfeldy Street U(Dys)topia(s): envisioning the futures is a public art programme exploring the concepts of Utopia and Dystopia in order to ask questions about the present and think about potential futures beginning on 2 Sept in London, Amsterdam and online.
