For the last 5 years I've been Red Gallery's Technician. During this time I have hung hundreds of exhibitions. Through Red I have made lots of contacts in the Art scene, which led me to work as exhibition installer for spaces such as Tate Modern, Saatchi Gallery, Barbican, ICA, Print Space, and many pubs and restaurants. Through my experience, I realised that often even the greatest artists make the most basic mistakes at their own exhibitions, because they are unaware of the technical possibilities available to them, and how these can enhance their work.
The aim of this presentation and workshop is to assist artists to work more effectively on their own exhibition installation and to manage their tasks to a deadline.
