Play Games all your Life

9 June 2018

website

Venue: Our Place, 1 Alpine Grove, London E9 7SX

Organiser: Eva Megias / Emma Thatcher

Eva Megias is a creative artist. I enjoy playing and teaching chess and I'd love to go deeper with the idea of games, who plays them, the agreement of rules and what part games play in our lives. Emma Thatcher is a photographic and video artist, arts facilitator and trainee arts therapist living in London, UK.

Playing games is a human right. Everybody should have people and spaces to play with. Even more for people from unrepresented groups. We will explore chess rules and history as an inspiration at the beginning of the workshop. After that, we will spend time creating a new game.
