The Other MA (TOMA) is an alternative art education model set up in 2015 by artist, Emma Edmondson, working in partnership with Metal. Designed to fit the everyday lives of contemporary artists TOMA is a response to the barriers that some face in accessing many traditional art MA models (work & family commitments, cost, geography). Artist led contemporary project space in Cardiff city centre, interactive projects, performance and experimental projects.

Artists from TOMA + ArcadeCardiff will stage a cross-border discussion about ways in which to steal time. We will attempt to link up digitally, as well as physically in our disparate spaces.

Come + join the discussion + add your tips to form a tip sheet we’ll hope to publish later. There will be workshops too. All looking at + exploring the rise of the #timepoor / #moneypoor in the arts + beyond.
